Going back a few years I parked a press car in a really precarious position for an epic photo, but as I got out of the vehicle I lost my footing and landed hands first on the rocks below.  As well as managing to drop my camera I sliced open both my palms, and guess which idiot didn’t carry a first aid kit?  The same idiot who always carries one now,  because you never know when you might do something clumsy.

Like the rest of SURVIVAL’s First Aid Kits it is packed neatly in an outer case that’s made from hard wearing, moisture resistant 600d Oxford polyester, and measures when closed 21 x11 19cm (H, W, L) and weighs in at just 1.25kg. On the outer are QR codes that send you to a very useful and free First Aid App.

Designed with weight and space in mind, everything inside is clearly labelled and separated into relevant sections, which is incredibly helpful in an emergency.  There is also a large section in which to store personal items; (eg. special medication for you or your passengers).

To access the kit there are two large zips with chunky toggles and sturdy handle. Once open, you will be genuinely surprised not only by the amount of kit they’ve managed to fit inside, but how well organised everything is.
