If you haven't come across power banks before, they are for charging your smartphone when you don’t have access to a plug. The Kit: is portable, lightweight and small enough to fit in your pocket, or bag, perfect for a quick battery boost when you need it most.

There are plenty of power banks on the market, and this Kit: Power Bank is one of the nicest that I've come across. It's cylindrical metal case, with brushed metallic paint, is very tactile and a nice change from boring plastic.

It comes with some charge so you can use it straight from the box, and then, once empty, will take up to 5 hours to recharge. A full bank will provide one full charge of your smartphone, or other small gadget (excluding tablets), and will hold its charge for up to a whopping 60 days, ready for any emergency power need.

The box contains the power bank, a charging cable and instructions along with 3 connectors: mini USB, micro USB and Apple 30-pin connector. It doesn't come with an Apple lightning connector, but you can use your own USB-to-lightning cable that came with the phone.
