Quench! Silicone Drinkware
I was gutted the other week, obviously not literally, that would be weird. No, I was quite upset because whilst unloading my brew making equipment I found that my favourite camping mug had shattered into a million pieces, it was a sad day, especially as it was the only one I'd brought along.
Serendipitously, a week later I came across Martin Baxendell at a gift fair, and since then his silicone Quench glasses have revolutionised my whole outdoor drinking experience.
Made from food grade silicone, the cups are virtually unbreakable and can be used for both hot and cold drinks ranging from -40˚C to 230˚C. They’re dishwasher, freezer and microwave safe too.
Although they’re incredibly pliable they’re also sturdy, so you don't spill your favourite tipple when drinking. Not only are they great for clumsy and drunk adults, but they’re ideal for kids too.
These days I just throw them into the camping box with gay abandon, it doesn’t matter if they become squashed, they just pop back into shape. We've had ours for around 5 years now, and with no sign of wear or deterioration I reckon they're a must for any social event, whether you're inside or out!
