Armadillo Merino 3 Season Boot Sock

As I often say, there’s no greater joy than jumping into a bed with fresh, clean sheets, or slipping your feet into a new pair outdoor type socks - yes I know, I should get out more.

Since the beginning of December I’ve been putting Armadillo Merino’s 3 Season socks through their paces (see what I did there?), and 5 months later I’m still very happy with them.

Made from 75% Merino Wool, 23% Nylon and 2% Elastane, you won’t find them overly tight on your calves, just comfortable.  On the subject of comfort, they are reinforced at the toe and heel and have a smooth toe seam so they never feel awkward or uncomfortable.

A loop pile covers the soles of the feet for better moisture and air movement and the antibacterial properties of wool help reduce fungal infections to keep you on your feet every day.

For multi day trips these are great socks, and at the end of a long day I didn’t need to take them off as they were still comfortable.

As well as the usual daily activities, driving, walking and so on, they’ve been my go-to sock when I’m just meandering around the drafty Muddy Towers or sat around in tent.

As I’ve written previously, you shouldn’t skimp on shoes because your feet are important, so why skimp on socks?  A decent pair of socks should last a long time when looked after, and that’s exactly what I expect from my Armadillo Merino 3-Season socks, they're made to go the distance!
