Thule Vectros 13" MacBook Pro Retina Bumper

When you’ve invested around £1400 on a pretty swanky new MacBook Pro, and you are a bit clumsy (like the Muddy Madam and me), or you have kids that use your MacBook, you definitely want to consider one of these!

Accidents happen, they always will.  I’ve honestly lost count of how many people I know who’ve dropped their brand new phone or iPad only days after they’ve bought them.

To be fair, it’s not as if, here at the Mud Life HQ, we’re forever dropping things, but both Muddy Madam and I use the same MacBook Pro, which means it gets taken everywhere, school, business meetings, weekends away, off-roading, as well as to foreign climes on vehicle launches, so having a Thule Vectros Bumper protecting it takes the worry out of travelling.

The Vectros comes in 4 pieces and fitting couldn’t be simpler as everything snaps into place. It still feels nicely balanced, and with the rubber bumper sides it feels far more secure whilst carrying it.

If you need a MacBook case that can offer true drop protection, and I think Thule is the only one on the market that does, then the Vectros Bumper is a no-brainer. Other selling points are that it has rubberised feet for stability, grip and airflow, and the secure closure keeps your MacBook fastened shut even if you do drop it.

NOTE: Thule also do the Vectros Bumper for both the 11” MacBook Air & 13” MacBook Air and the 15” MacBook Pro Retina.
