NEW - Petromax Fire Kettle

Petromax Stainless-Steel Fire Kettle makes it easier to brew up an essential cuppa, wherever the outdoor destination. The kettle is a self-sufficient outdoor stove for any camp kitchen, ideal for preparing tea and coffee, and for warming up other cookware while preparing a meal.

The Petromax Stainless-Steel Fire Kettle comes with a small compatible fire bowl with feet, that creates a solid stand on uneven ground. The way it works is quite simple, using small branches, twigs or fir-cones for fuel, heat rises from the fire bowl through the inside cavity. Due to the resulting chimney effect, the water inside the double-wall warms up in a few minutes, and a steam whistle sounds as soon as it has reached boiling point. Another thoughtful touch includes silicone handles that not only allow you to easily and safely remove the kettle from the heat source, but also aids pouring.

The kettle can also be used to warm up cookware. A small frame fits into the top of the kettle to create a platform for small pots and pans. The heat that escapes from the top opening can be used to heat up small meals. When not in use, the fire bowl and feet fit neatly inside the base of the kettle for storage and transport. An additional screw-on lid also means that the kettle can be filled with water for transport to and from a campsite - love that idea!

The Petromax Stainless-Steel Fire Kettle is available in two sizes. The 750ml version is 23.9cm tall (39.1cm when set up on the fire bowl) with a 13.3cm diameter base, weighs 1kg and retails at £81.95. The 1.5l kettle is 31.9cm tall (46.1cm on the fire bowl) with a 16cm diameter base, weighs 1.3kg and retails at £99.95.

Both kettles are available from www.berryuseful.co.uk, along with the rest of the Petromax range, which includes other products for making hot drinks, such as the Hand Coffee Grinder (£49.95), Stainless-Steel Perkomax Percolator (£74.95), Enamel Mug (£9.95), and Fire Kettle bags (£18.95 - £23.95).
