ALL-NEW Electric Vauxhall SUV named FRONTERA
Vauxhall has announced the return of the Frontera in 2024 with an all-new SUV model.
The new Frontera, which will be presented later this year, will be a fun car with clever functional features, Vauxhall say. It will also display a new rugged interpretation of Vauxhall’s bold and pure design philosophy. The new Frontera will be available as a battery-electric vehicle from the very start - which I guess won’t be suitable for folk who enjoy spending extended periods of times in the middle of nowhere.
James Taylor, Managing Director, Vauxhall, said: “The name ‘Frontera’ is ideally suited to our exciting new SUV model. It will have a confident character and be positioned right in the core of the market.”
The new Vauxhall Frontera will come with a high level of space and versatility and thus appeal to customers with an active lifestyle and families alike. The newcomer will also continue Vauxhall’s long-standing tradition of bringing affordable mobility to a wide range of customers by being offered at an attractive price.
The arrival of the battery-electric variant of the new Frontera, along with the launch of the all-electric version of the next generation Grandland (also scheduled for this year), will mark an important milestone in the British brand’s transition to becoming a fully electric brand. Vauxhall will then offer at least one fully electric version across its entire car and van range.
The wide range of fully electric Vauxhall models available today already extends from the Corsa Electric, Mokka Electric, Astra Electric and Astra Sports Tourer Electric, to the new Combo Life Electric and Vivaro Life Electric. In addition, battery-electric versions of the entire commercial vehicle portfolio are already available today – including New Combo Electric, New Vivaro Electric and New Movano Electric.
Vauxhall will reveal the first images of the new Frontera along with more detailed information on the newcomer in the coming weeks.
