CUPRA UK launches 5 year warranty across range

CUPRA has just rolled out an expansive five-year/90,000-mile warranty across its entire range, effective from April 3rd, 2024, making it applicable to all CUPRA models.

This extended warranty will be available for all orders placed, whether they are new factory orders or stock orders. It encompasses a two-year manufacturer's warranty with no mileage limit, supplemented by an additional three years or up to a maximum of 90,000 miles, whichever occurs first.

Marcus Gossen, the Director of SEAT and CUPRA UK, expressed enthusiasm about this enhancement, stating,

“Our new five-year warranty across the range makes the CUPRA offering even more appealing. We want to reassure our customers with the knowledge that they are extensively covered when purchasing their CUPRA, so they can enjoy their experience.”

Gossen emphasized the importance of accessibility for their models and highlighted how extending the warranty to five years provides customers with ongoing peace of mind on the road.

Previously, the CUPRA range provided coverage for three years or 60,000 miles, with the option to extend to four years or 75,000 miles, or five years or 90,000 miles for an additional fee.

While the new five-year warranty has been integrated into the range, CUPRA's paint warranty and body protection warranty remain at three years and 12 months respectively. Furthermore, the warranty for the battery of the CUPRA Born model remains unchanged at eight years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first.

This extension to a five-year warranty adds significant value to the range, providing customers with competitive vehicle coverage for an extended period.
